St Peter Parish Commonwealth Avenue
The Shrine of St. Peter is located along Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City stand witness to the many events affecting our country. Completed in 1999, it is a famous church in the Philippines as it is a replica of the original St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, Italy.
People call it the busiest church in Quezon City. Sixteen masses in the church and two off-site masses are held every Sunday. It is known for its excellent mass service, with remarkable choir music, superb audio equipment, and comfortable ventilation of the two-level facility. This architectural masterpiece allows seating for 800-1000 people. Unofficially dubbed as the “marriage center” of the city, it is home to the Missionary Couples of Mary for Christ and the Marriage Encounter Community, and the one stop Pastoral Care Center for Women and Children. The church is also known as the Shrine of Leaders.
